But back to the literary character. D'artagnan deserves to he wanted to emulate. He's brave, strong, smart. His intelligence can be judged by the fact that he is faster than all of your friends takes the right decisions in difficult situations, and in the fact that he has a great sense of humor, never at a loss for words, finds a common language with all people around him. Our hero in this case deserves respect, but he is very respectful and considerate not only with friends but also enemies. His voice is rich and witty, get real pleasure from the reading of dialogues, which Dumas so much. It becomes clear why few could resist the charm of D'artagnan.
Undoubtedly, it is the mind and determination lead to the fact that D'artagnan is very successful in any business, for which taken. He definitely could make a career what is called "going over the heads". But for our hero's integrity and loyalty to the friendship is much more expensive than any other good.
But D'artagnan is not an angel, but a human and a very young man. The young tend to act in obedience to a momentary impulse. So he was no stranger to weakness, especially in dealing with women. But this only adds to his image of realism, not subtracting positive features.
